Overview
Mushrif Park is one of Dubai’s oldest and largest public parks, offering a sprawling green oasis away from the city’s bustling skyscrapers. Spanning over 5.25 square kilometers (1,300 acres), it was established in 1974 and has since evolved into a premier destination for families, fitness enthusiasts, and nature lovers. Unlike many urban parks, Mushrif Park retains a distinctly natural feel, with extensive woodlands of ghaf, acacia, and palm trees that provide a vital habitat for local birdlife and a welcome shade from the desert sun.
The park is renowned for its diverse range of attractions that cater to all ages. Key highlights include Aventura, an award-winning aerial adventure course with zip lines and obstacle courses set high in the trees, and the World Village, a unique area with traditional houses from around the globe. For families, there are numerous playgrounds, a large swimming pool complex, dedicated barbecue and picnic areas, and a fun-filled equestrian centre offering pony and camel rides. With its vast network of cycling paths, walking trails, and ample space for relaxation and sports, Mushrif Park successfully combines recreational activities with tranquil natural surroundings, making it a perfect weekend retreat for residents and tourists seeking a breath of fresh air
